At the entrance to Saint-Tropez, Les Viviers du Pilon embodies the soul of a family-run institution where a passion for seafood has been passed down with discretion and exacting standards for over sixty years.
The story begins in the 1960s, with three visionary friends from Marseilles, including Pierre GUASTI’s grandfather. Driven by a love of the sea, they took the daring gamble of setting up fish ponds at the entrance to the village, in the Pilon district, still in the making. Their idea: to offer live lobsters, preserved in renewed seawater, guaranteeing absolute freshness.

In the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the Viviers du Pilon fishmonger’s cultivates a rare requirement: respectful fishing and exceptional products, some of which are raised in our own tanks.
Faithful to a family tradition, every day we select the finest wild fish from a sustainable fishery: line-caught sea bass, gilthead bream, turbot, lobster, lobster, St. Pierre, red mullet, red tuna, sole, capon, pacte and denty, products chosen with rigor and care.
Our commitment goes beyond the counter: we make daily deliveries to hotel and restaurant professionals in the tropéziens, with the same high standards of quality. We bring the sea to your table.
